This series was a journey for me. I began my thought process by wanting to explore movement of colours with strong empowering brush strokes yet finding that balance of tranquility by focusing on specific animals. My first painting was more about experimentation yet landed on a personal feeling in the end. As my series progressed, I realized what I was actually painting: core emotions us human beings experience and share throughout our lives, that I believe, our fellow wild animals experience as well. This series touches on confidence, courageousness, curiosity, perseverance, desire & humility/ self-reflection.
